Entangled Ventures, LLC, d/b/a Entangled Group (“Entangled”) considers the privacy and security of user information an important component of the services offered at its websites, including https://www.entangled.solutions/, https://www.entangled.group and https://entangledvelocity.com/ and any other website that links to this Privacy Policy (taken together, the “Sites”).  The following information explains how Entangled collects and uses information obtained from users in connection with services available at the Sites (taken together, the “Service”).  By using or accessing the Sites in any way, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to our collection, use and sharing of your information in the manner described herein.

This Privacy Policy only covers our treatment of your personal information that we gather when you are accessing or using our Sites, and does not apply to the practices of companies we don’t own or control, or people that we don’t manage.

Information Collected.

At your election, you may request additional information about Entangled, sign up for the Entangled newsletter, or inquire about job opportunities at Entangled.  When you do so, you may submit certain information or data to Entangled, for example, your contact information, e-mail address, phone number, resume/CV, current company information, LinkedIn or other social media or website URLs, work eligibility/employment visa status, gender, race, or veteran status (collectively, “User Data”).  By providing Entangled with User Data via the Sites, you expressly agree to its collection and use as described in this Privacy Policy.

When you visit the Sites, web servers collect “traffic data” (such as, for example, time and date, the address of the website from which you entered the Sites) about your visit, which is stored as anonymous, aggregate data.  Collecting such data may entail the use of cookies, IP addresses or other numeric codes used to identify a computer, and other commonly used information-gathering tools.

A “cookie” is a small piece of data stored on a user’s browser, and contains non-personally identifiable information about the user.  When you visit the Sites, Entangled may place a “cookie” in order to improve your experience by recognizing you when you visit the Sites and in order to allow Entangled to optimize the information presented based on your demonstrated areas of interest.  Cookies may also be used to compile information about website usage. If you subsequently provide us with personal information such as your email address, we may associate any cookies on your browser with that information such that you will no longer be an anonymous visitor to the Sites.  For example, we use performance/analytical cookies to understand how visitors use our Sites and to help us improve our advertising campaigns and the Sites’ content. These cookies collect information such as the number of visitors to the Sites, what pages visitors view on our Sites, and how long visitors are viewing pages on the Sites.  One example of a performance/analytical cookie used in connection with the Sites is provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) in connection with its Google Analytics services. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the Sites is subject to the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.  You can opt out of Google’s use of this cookie by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page at www.google.com/privacy_ads.html or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

To explore what cookie settings are available to you, look in the “preferences” or “options” section of your browser’s menu.  To find out more information about cookies, including information about how to manage and delete Cookies, please visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org/.

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” or “DNT” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites.  Our Sites do not support Do Not Track requests at this time, which means that we may collect information about your online activity both while you are on the Sites and after you leave our Sites.

Children’s Privacy.

Entangled does not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from children under thirteen (13) years of age; IF YOU ARE UNDER THIRTEEN (13), PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS THE SITES,  USE THE SERVICE, OR OTHERWISE SEND US ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under thirteen (13), we will delete that information as quickly as possible.  If you believe that a child under thirteen (13) may have provided us personal information, please contact us at info@entangledvelocity.com.

Use of Information.

Entangled uses User Data to respond to your inquiries for additional information, to send you the Entangled newsletter and other communications from Entangled, and to consider you for available job opportunities at Entangled.

Entangled uses “traffic data” to help diagnose problems with its server, analyze trends, and administer the Sites.  Your IP address is not linked to personally identifiable information, but may be used to help identify you and gather broad demographic data and to monitor statistics to improve the Sites and Service.  IP addresses may be also used to provide an audit trail in the case of any attempted illegal or unauthorized use of the Sites.

If you submit unsolicited business plan ideas or slide decks to Entangled through the Sites, except as expressly set forth in this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information, any plans, information, and other materials you submit in connection with the Sites may be used or disclosed by Entangled for any purpose and in any manner, as Entangled determines in its sole discretion.   Entangled cannot and will not accept responsibility for protecting against misuse or disclosure of any confidential or proprietary information included in such materials, in the absence of Entangled’s express written agreement to do so. Please consider this carefully before sending Entangled any information or other materials that you deem confidential or proprietary.

Sharing of Information.

Entangled may disclose personally identifiable data if (1) reasonably necessary to perform the Service, (2) authorized by you, (3) otherwise permitted under this Privacy Policy, or (4) Entangled is required to do so by law or regulation, or in good faith believes that such action is necessary to (i) conform or comply with applicable laws, regulations or legal process, (ii) protect or defend the rights or property of Entangled, any other user, or the public, (iii) prevent fraud, or (iv) protect Entangled against abuse, misuse, or unauthorized use of Entangled’s products or services.

Entangled may transfer personally identifiable information to any successor to all or substantially all of its business or assets.

Security.

We endeavor to protect the privacy of your personal information that we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security.  Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.

Third Party Sites.

The Sites (including, without limitation, such features and services provided by Entangled through the Sites, such as Entangled’s newsletters) may permit you to link to other websites on the Internet, and other websites may contain links to the Sites.  These other websites are not under Entangled’s control. The privacy and security practices of websites linked to or from the Sites are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and Entangled is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.
